Overview

This is a forum where fans of Pink Floyd may gather together and discuss many topics, including their favorite band.

The "Unofficial" forum began in August 2003, when there were increasing problems on the Official Pink Floyd forum, run by EMI Music (UK).
That forum had very little in the way of administration, and unfortunately was ruined by a number of individuals who deliberately set out to cause trouble. In the end, EMI shut down the forum in November 2004. Some of the old posts can still be viewed, but new posts can no longer be made.

The Unofficial Discussion board

This forum is lightly moderated. We try not to have too many hard and fast rules, apart from "respect your fellow forum members". There is a "New User" area you should read first, which gives some guidelines about what is and is not acceptable.

You can browse around most areas in the forum as a guest, by going here
Some areas cannot be visited by guests. This is principally to protect personal information that people tend to post there. Once you register on the forum, you can read all areas except one.
There is one area which is totally unmoderated, where "almost anything goes". Arguments can get heated and bloody, so we make sure new users have established a presence on the forum, so they have some experience of the other members, before they are allowed into "The Blue Room".
